Yep they need replacing, search for a cheap one from a specialist not a dealer (ie) Rovacraft and such.

Ta Redback, is there a time frame that these then last for once replaced, or am i up for one every 20000km?

More like every 90k kms, I'm on my 3rd one and have done 265k kms. Tried everything to do a home bodge job fix but there is no way, better off just to replace it. You can get them ex UK for about 200 delivered.

Ta Hendrik, so is it the orings failing or the actual pressure regulator

Search is your friend - I think Blacknight did a write up on how you can fix em for 10$ worth of orings or something

Often just the o'rings but if the diaphragm is damaged then no good.
