Hi there. I have a TD5 with air conditioned, but it seems to be really weak in getting cold the ambience of the car. Have anybody modified AC settings or hardware in order to have a nice cold air in all the car?

Carlos, do you have any idea of outlet temps on your car ?

Is the condenser clean, same for the evaporator, condenser fans working OK and refrigerant level OK ?

Unfortunately the Oz spec 110/130s right through to I think almost the end of the TD5 have an Australian sourced and fitted a/c system, so most on here don't have much experience with another system.

remove the vent from the center left position to increase the airflow and keep
everything out of the passangers footwell.

there's a handfull of other under dash designs that all suffer the same lack of effective airflow the fix should be the same or similar.

I have the same AC you show in your article, knight. Do you have an A17 Nippon Denso compressor? Iĺl try what you are telling me. Do you know if there is another's car blower that could fit? the one in my car seems really slow....
