Bit hard from here. I am assuming you have full air suspension.
The proceedure is supposed to be ......have your suspension locked by local LR dealer. This is after driving the vehicle for at least 10klms ( I think ) in the normal road mode, and again another 10klms ( again I think that is the figure ) after the suspension has been locked. Then have the wheel alignment completed.

If this is neither practical or achieveable, you get a pretty good result, by driving the vehicle for the 10 odd klms in normal road height, then leaving one door ajar as the alignment is completed. This is supposed to fool the CPU and stop it inadvertantly dropping the suspension. Worth a shot if you are unable to do anything else.

The adjustment on the rear end is limited on the cam bolts. If you find it is way out, the top hub bolt is a slide adjuster, but you do need to take a wheel off to get to it. That could complicate the process, and require a revisit to recheck, if the suspension does not stay on the normal setting.

As Admiral points out it is best handled by a dealer as a result of the specific (and not user selectable) suspension setting. Why Land Rover did this is, we could speculate for days, my cynical view is that it means in order to get it done properly you have to take it to, and pay a Land Rover dealer……

Anyway I digress. Assuming you want a dealer to handle it, and you are on the Gold Coast, Bruce Lynton Land Rover in Southport I think are your only option. That said they are a good option, good bunch of guys who know their Land Rovers and aren’t out to rip you off.

With all this in mind, I (and probably most others here) tend to just get the alignment and balancing done at each scheduled service.
