Hi there all
Well after a big weekend a few weeks ago the 130 is now resting in the shed.
The saga
Got myself into a situation where the articulation was at its extreme - heard a large noise (almost like a spring breaking) - visually checked everything out but still drove it around for another week.
The problem -
NOTE: the vehcile is still drivable (drove home) but a terible noise comining from the transfer case area, I removed the front drive shaft and there is now alot of slop in the front out put shaft.
This is where I need the assistance of fellow forum members:
Is this a common problem, I respect its difficult to diagnose problems over a forum but has anyone one else had simular problems like this they would like to share (and inturn assist me fixing).
I would love to get this vehcile to where all landrovers belong - off road again as its a great truck. When doing the ring around to various wreckers (for replacement gearbox/transfer) to my shock the 130 dual cabs are sort afetr as they have offer good money for it "as it where is".
This makes it difficult to get money out of the minster of war and finance......but after thought from the forum members.
Would love to hear your thoughts
