Two questions really.
I think the pads are due on the D3 and I don't want to pay the exorbitant amount that LR will want. Any issues using a 3rd brake specialist mob?
And if so, any recommendations for someone Brisbane south or bay side?
Cheers.

Give Dwayne at M.R. Auto a bell, they are only 30min north of the gateway in Anzac Ave, Redcliffe. I have found them to be very good, etc, I travel from the Sunshine Coast to them for parts and service.

Hi Mark,
I recently got mine done at MR. If they need doing then there should be a warning light come up on the dash. Both MR and Landrover told me that there is still a fair bit of life left in the pad after the light comes on so unless you are going on a long trip it should be ok to wait for the light.
I am not sure if there is anything that needs Landrover diagnostic gear that would not be available at a 3rd party type of brake specialist but MR may well be willing to tell you. I can't think of any other reason why a third party couldn't do it.

Hi WhiteD3,
I got mine done at FWD motors last time no problems,
Most times you need new rotors as well

Buy the pads from BMI and DIY?
I've done the backs in my car and it was a fairly easy exercise... just need to be careful not to break the sensor.
