G'day guys,

I have been told by the auto trans people that I need to adjust the voltages on the Throttle Position Sensor. Does anyone know where the TPS adjustment is, and also what is the correct voltage(s)?

Thanks

Willem

it is not normal to have to manually reset the TPS on a petrol P38 (unless it has been disturbed). Both Lucas and Bosch systems learn as they are driven and can have these adaptions reset by the relavent diagnostic equipment, but the Bosch system can be forced to learn the throttle closed position without equipment. the closed throttle voltage is usually between 0.56v and 0.80v with the throttle blade closed but not jammed.

Thanks Rupert. I've done just that - left it be and observed, and the system has steadily improved.
