Hi,
Anyone out there know where I could pick up a good used Fuji s5Pro. I currently shoot Velvia nad would like a similar look in digital. I have checked Ebay, but they are starting to increase in price.

Not surprised. Fujifilm discounted their new price in Australia to gain market penetration, so Australian S5Pros are considered relatively cheap by international buyers.

Dont expect to get the same velvia color characteristics. Velvia has a different spectral response than CMOS/CCD sensors. Tweaking saturation and contrast in a digital capture image makes it look like a second rate velvia wantabee.

Dynamic range, on the other hand, is what this camera excells at. And dynamic range has a big influence on overall image quality. I have its baby cousin - the compact F200, and the dynamic range is really impressive, much more than actual velvia film and more than most DSLRs.
