SVX At The Farm Fest

We went to the farm festival at Caboolture today and in the carpark was an SVX. We had to go and have a look :) but when we got close it looked like it had been bombed :eek:

It was dented, half the interior missing and generally looked unloved. Seemed a shame if these are collectors items

Sounds unloved alright. How did you go with the alternator problem you had - I haven't seen anything about what was the problem?

Mine is scratched and has a few small dents in it, the two rear seats have been removed. But you couldn't have been looking at mine. I think I am probably the only Defender owner who still washes and polishes (sometimes) every weekend.

Hi Brian, I got the alternator reconditioned for $330.00,new diode,bearing,brushes etc

I'd be surprised if the SVX belonged to anybody on here, even the rear door interior trim was missing which seemed very odd, shame I didn't have my camera with me.

Yes. Still have them.Now they are taking up space in the home. Occasionally they have to go back in when needed. That is no easy/quick job.

i no of another svx and if you new the state of this one:mad::mad: berges underseats, white door trims from the sun screen, front seats with massive stains on them:mad: only gets washed when it comes to our dealership

they got the svx cos they couldn't get a d3 fast enough at the time, and they hate it, its been nothing but problems for them, its probly why htey dont look after it,
