povman, sure is looking good!!!
What's the OME lift - 50mm, and what size tyres are you running?
And what about the bash plate, is it from OL?
Great job!

Thats looks VERY nice...

Did they tighten up the Defender Bullbar? I am sure the ARB one on my 90 stuck out further than that....New one looks better...

G'day guys, the lift actually bought each wheel guard up between 60 and 65mm all round. Pretty happy with that...Tyre size is 265/75/16 km2's. Bash plate is from rovercraft and no clearance issues with the spotties at all..Don't know if you realise def90, but this is the new ARB design bullbar, released a couple of months ago so it's a bit more rounded off than the last one..

Cheers,
Povman.

P.s, She will be muddy in no time!!!!!! Ha ha..

G'day Povman

Who did all the work on yours. Just brought a Puma, picked it up yesterday. Noticed that you have OME suspension Do you have any vibration problems or angles differences on the prop shafts.

Congrats on the new Puma, you will catch the Puma fever soon!!!!! ha ha..
I got everything fitted at ARB, they fitted caster correction spaces so haven't noticed any vibration from prop shaft as yet!

I am also interested if you have any noise or vibration with this lift. I did the same lift on mine when I first bought it and the thing sounded like an old traction engine at 90kms an hour when coasting and the vibration was a shocker. Had to put it back to standard hight then fit 130 front springs to compensate for bar and winch weight. I wonder if the later props are different. Looks fantastic though, great job, I hope all is well:D:D

What are your ride hight measurements? I'm currently running 130 fronts and OME 755 rears this give me 740 mm front 760 mm rear from bottom of wheel rim to edge of mud guard. These measurements are about 10 mm up on new vehicle height and 40mm up after dropping from all the add ons:). I need replace shocks soon and may consider the OME front springs. Just a bit wary of changes that may affect driveline and steering angles adversely. I suspect a front height much higher than 750mm which gives a front bump stop clearance of about 100mm may require other mods.

Like the bull bar. Apparently it doesn't, but I can't see why it won't go on the SVX.

By the looks of things the additional 'driving lights' front head light surround on the SVX will be lower than the main body of the bar. Thats the way it looks to me anyway????

I think it's actually because of the depth of the headlight surround.

The bar seems to sit hard up (or close to) against the body.

I'm pretty sure the Auxiliary High Beams aren't any lower than the front Indicator lamps.

You might be on to something there?
OK the next question is. “Who brave enough to go and spent twelve hundred odd bucks on a brand new bulbar and take to it with a gas axe so it will fit”??? :whistling:
I'm thinking about it? Brave might not be the right word, stupid might be more appropriate. [tonguewink]

Have acquired a new Puma 90, also in Stornoway grey, hence the name Lewis. Fitted bar, winch & spots from the 130 and think the extra weight has calmed down the front end...the SWB did tend to porpoise a bit on the lumpy stuff.

Agree that the new style bar look more 'altogether' with the vehicle, but that said, I like that the original bar clears the front end by some distance. When I have belted something, I have needed good crumple zones.

Congrats again, time to get my camera out....
