OK, just bought a TM2 temp monitor/alarm. Trying to work out how to get the sensor cable through the firewall. I'm sure it's dead simple but I'm burgerred if I can see how. Do I have to drill a hole? If so, where? Also any idea what is a "normal" operating temp for a D2 TD5?

theres a boot about halfway down the firewall, just as it flows to the wheel arches, its masive you cant miss it, look over at teh abs side and folow the big black harninss and you will see were it gose in,, its the same for the drivers side, bit harder to get at tho

Many thanks. I actually found an unused plug a bit further to the left of the one you mention. Anyway all is good - it's in and working.
