There looks to be 10 bags of cement - that by itself is 1/2 ton just about the payload for a Holden ute. Let alone the 2 tons of blue metal! What was he thinking! :eek:

Reminds me of the Cortina I saw years ago with five bags of cement on the roof rack - and both the roof rack and the roof were somewhat lower than previously. No picture unfortunately!

A good examle of why live axle semi-ellipitical spring are much better for load carrying, and also a good example of stupidity in action, imagine trying an emergency stop or swerve.

But how many on here have loaded their trailers worse and been lucky to get away with it.:pThat's what you have the Dyna for. It's rated to 3 ton and you dump it exactly where you need it.
But I sure have seen some overloaded 6X4 box trailers, even some where the "A" frame bent so the body touches the ground. What was the weight of an un-braked trailer again? 750Kg including the trailer, that would leave just about the 10 bags of cement again.

this thread reminded me of this toymota on fraser a few years ago,I think he came with a trailer but left without it due to mishap :(
