Has anyone had any experience with Trinity Land Rover in Cairns? I am looking at an alternative for my local dealer and would be willing to drive for the privelage of having quality service.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry can't help with a service report but I do order my spares from them and they are quite good.

There's also an independent LR service place in Cairns. I've never used Trinity but at the worst they couldn't be worse than who I think you are referring to.

I've used them for parts and they were excellent, even taking said part to a haulage depot early in the morning so it left on the Friday as opposed to the Monday.

For my 2 bob I would try Hyper Tuned Landrover in Cairns. Seemed very professional and prices were SIGNIFICANTLY better that the official LR agent to whom you refer. And you get to talk to a real mechanic not just the office girl.

Are their parts genuine LR?
Or Bearmach/Britpart?

I have taken our Disco 2A there a few times fobs I didnt want to do, drivers door handle, auto box oil change
jsut after we got it, the battery died, it was originaly battery just over 4 years old and I got a bit panicked thinking it was all 'locked up' because the drivers door handle didnt work either. I got to speak to the Land Rover mechanic on the telephone and he was helpful. I thought it was really good tht a) they went and got him b) he took teh time to talk to me on the phone and not talk down to me either.
David on the service counter seems really good too.
and I get my parts from there as well but I usually know what I want.
the sales rep is good, friendly as well, let us look all over a defer (Mrs Hay Ewe's first choice) without a problem and when we got out 2nd hand disco, checked all teh numebrs and re-calls etc with out fuss or drama
no bad experiences yet!

I bought my D4 from Trinity and the salesman was brilliant....nothing was too much trouble. Was great to deal with, put it on a truck to Brisbane and then rang me a few weeks later to 'talk' me through the whole car. He let me get a feel for it first and to have a read of the manual before having the discussion so that he wasn't talking Double Dutch. Basically said to ring him anytime if I had a question and wasn't getting the help/answers in Brisbane.
During the buying process, the other staff I had to deal with, were equally as helpful and professional......so maybe it extends to their service people too.

Cant fault these guys - had all my services done there, even let me into the workshop out the back to talk to the mechanic. Very good communication and no issue too small to deal with. I recommend them.
