Its an Imperial India Pale Ale by Scottish brewery BrewDog.
$210 for a 330ml bottle!!! 41% alcahol.

They also do an Imperial Stout.
Tactical Nuclear Penguin,$150 a bottle.

Their latest drop The End of History,the strongest beer in the world at 55% alcahol is $850 and is presented in a Taxidermied Squirrel!!!

The Imperial process involves ageing the beer in oak whisky barrels,freezing the beer,removing the ice slurry which is repeated several times.Can take 7 or 8 months to produce a brew!!!!

I was talking to one of the guys at our local bottleshop the other day. It seems he collects beers like this.

He has a STB and a TNP. He says they are quite good, you drink them a small amount at a time like whisky.

He says he almost bought an EOH, but missed out.

Btw - a few breweries in Germany do an EISBOCK (Ice Beer). This is done in much the same way - the beer is frozen to remove water - it tastes quite nice! I have only tried one, but it tasted great!

Whereas for ice wine, the grapes are frozen on the vine.
