Hi all

I have a 2005 TDV6 and a 9000lb winch sitting in the shed. Has anyone fitted a winch using a hidden/discrete winch mount behind the bumper?
Have been looking through the net and seen them from 4x4Intellence and Bearmach in the UK.
Have been thinking about a bullbar, but want to keep the car looking fairly stock and the $2k plus price is a bit harsh right now. (Baby no.3 due any day).
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Speak with Simon at 4x4 Intelligence.
He is a good bloke & his gear is reasonably good too.

Thanks Peter

Was hoping someone had some photos, would like to know how much modification is needed to the bumper. If when you sell the car, can it be returned to standard or are the mods too obvious.

Cheers

Take a look at that site, the guy has a winch mounting behind the number plate, its a P38a but that shouldn't make too much difference.

Thanks, have had a look at Disco3 site, photo was good, looks like a lot of work. How long does it take to remove the bumper assembly, lights. Maybe easier to get the ARB bar fitted for $2k. 4x4Intelligence are quoting $990 for the winch kit, supply only.
