I dont look at their shoes, I try to look them in the eyes while they try to avert their eyes......currently doing the horrible dealership thing with my wife who is novating a new car. I wont go on any further. You all know the pain.Thats the auto dealers.
We are possibly buying a house and a unit so will have to go the real estate circle as well.....moans and groans......wouldnt it be good if it was a pleasant all round experience?

Going through the real estate thing now too, ill have to keep a look out for the shoes then

Speaking of salesman, I always thought used car salesman were the worst, BUT I have now come to realise that realestate are worse - anyone know what the commission is to sell a house?? Go and find out, and tell me who the real crooks are!

They have a few ghost buyers bumping up the prices once you start making offers then they magically disappear .
It'll be payback time when it's all over & done with though. I don't forget when I've been shafted.

I read recently that if you think there are less-than-legitimate offers you should request a letter from the agent confirming the offer and the amount.

Had the same happen to me once, I was sure the other offer was dodgy, but a while after the deal was done an acquaintance said he'd made the other offer - he didn't know I was the other buyer.

If a mans foot size is representative of other things (apparently)

What must be said about a man wearing such footwear? Perhaps he has an above average amount of socks in his drawer?

Whats wrong with a pair of 1461? They have style, and the ability to kick ya bloody teeth in if needed.

No need for a letter.
One does not make a first offer of $755000 & then can't stretch another $2500.

Dont know about that... I tried (still working on it) to stretch my potential home loan to include a Nikon Lens (300mm with a teleconverter = $1800) and the Minister for War and Finance knocked back my application :(

So when your stretched, a small amount can seem to be quite large in the grand scheme of things.
