Seems to be quicker, but I'll wait until this evening to see, that seems to be when it's at it's worse.
What have you done?

Refreshes seem very "sticky" compared to before the upgrade. It is still the same compared to yesterday.

Cheers,

Lionel

Definitely faster loading pages Dave. BBC's thread still takes a few seconds, but with the number of photos in there, you've got to expect that. :D

It is a bit quicker, the forum is really painful at work, at times I can wait over a minute for pages to load, it almost like dial up, at home it's fine.

I don't have this problem with other VBulletin forums I often visit, just AULRO, It does seem a tad faster today though, still a lot slower than the other forums.

Baz.

Further to my earlier post, it seems to be the loading of ad pages which is holding things up for me.

This aspect has definitely become worse since the upgrade last week.

Cheers,

Lionel

nothing i have done would in any way affect their performance.. sorry

they are loaded directly from the ad managers servers not the aulro server.

Might be a fraction slower today, but wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't posted. Internode through Bigpond.

Much faster. Seems to still pause as (or after) the banner ad(s) load but nothing like it was doing up until yesterday. Thanks!

I always find it hard to tell with one log-in, I'll let you know over a few days.

PS. I know it gets said but a big thanks Inc for the work you do - cheers.

I do not know as my wireless conection is always slow, and varies if others conect through the same system, but I do apreciate all your work that you do, in running AULRO.
