I have been trying to buy a pair of 7inch projector headlights on Ebay and have bid on 3 items.
Have been outbid by $1 by one bidder on each occasion.
Seemed strange that I was always runner up.

Today Ebay cancelled all listings under lister's name and advised that if I had paid to contact bank etc..
I noted another listing with same photo and description with different lister and have told Ebay.
So I was lucky or the lister was both a thief but also wanted me to contribute more by shill bidding.
So be careful.
Funny thing was I emailed the seller to see if he had a Buy it now, as I didn't want stuff around and he said to bid. Maybe didn't want to give any contact details?

I can understand bidding during the auction to raise it, but at the end???
eBay don't allow reserve pricing on anything other than whole vehicles so essentially if he bids and wins against his own item, he has to buy it from himself and pay eBay for the costs associated with it!!

Yeah, the whole thing is weird.

And the second seller item with the same photo and description as all the delisted ones was still on there last night, even after I alerted ebay.
Seeing it is the only listing should I bid? is it fair dinkum?

BTW the lights appear to be Indian. I managed to read the name on the light as "Neolight" and googled it. Lots listed in USA .
Anyone had any experience?

BTW the seller BITDIST obviously owns a LR product as he has bought from Bundalene and Garyclr. Are you on here BITDIST and hey what is the story???

If they have been delisted, I wouldn't touch them.
Check the members link and see if he is on here under that name.

If you get in contact with eBay security, they may be willing to give you feedback on why's and wherefores.
The one good thing with eBay is if you pay via paypal, your money is protected.
Cheers
