For those with an eye on the sky, so to speak, there is at the moment in The west (from Sunset to abt 8:30pm AEST when these planets set in the west) an interesting view of Venus, Mars & Saturn in a group.
This apparent group will actually get closer over the next week or so, but the view will be spoilt somewhat by the moon from the 14th Aug and they will start to appear to drift apart after that when Saturn will be setting earlier but Venus and Mars will appear to be be closer to each other (of course they're not very close in reality).
........ or maybe you really can see stars !
