WHOSE GOING TO THE LR/RR EVENTS?

Hi guys/gals,

Who is going to the LR Expo at Castle Hill NSW and the RR 40th Anniversary weekend in Melbourne VIC?

I have booked in to camp at Castle Hill (feeling a bit lonely already!) and was intending on doing some of the 40th with the 'pretty pig' when I work out the value equation on registration and what is desirable. :eek:

Apparently, the organisers are looking for "interesting" rangie's to have on display (Paul/Andy, I may need some cool HRA stuff shipped down to display/promote if you aren't coming down with the Hard Rangie! He-He-He!!!!). If nothing else, best you guys get some HRA stickers made up (another one for Willem?!?) and I will slap them on (or at least in) every LR vehicle I can whilst there! LOL!!! :cool:

Anyway, just wondering who might be going to either that hangs out on here so we can hook up for a quiet ale and one of those "well my P38 did this to me and owes me this much money" or " I've done all this and spent all that money but I still have a list this long" chats!!! :D

I'll be at the Castle Hill Expo for sure. Have booked a site for Hard Range near the Arena Events area, and a camp site for the night.

Dunno what we'll do there yet, although my partner in crime assures me there will be a lump of plastic (or something like that) sticking out of my LH front guard and a couple of lumps of steel under the door sills ;)

The "other" Rangie should be wearing a lump of steel/alloy at the rear and perhaps a couple of other cool things.

The rush is on to get some stickers and banners made, or my laser printer will be working overtime to make up something dodgy...

So Dave, we will certainly catch up for a civilised cup 'o cha on the day/night.

When is the RR 40th event in Melb on? About time I went for a drive to see my Dad again.. dunno if my liver can handle it after last time :o

I dont need a p38 when i have endless offers from customers who are glad to lend me theirs. For the show i'll have a red one there, with prototype sliders and rear bar.

I will definately have a snorkel ready. These will not be available for sale in sydney (only viewing), but will be well and truely for melbourne (i may not be there).
