Any ideas on reconditioned boxes or getting your own box rebuilt.
Sydney preferably. Cost, time to fit, quality of work etc.

Yep, there's a bloke named "Andrew e" on this forum who may be able to help you out, and another bloke named Sam around Hurstville who fitted mine last year.

Send "andrew e" a PM.

Cheers, Paul.

I got my ZF 4HP22 EH rebuilt in my BMW E32 at Mona Vale automatics. The little plastic balls in the valve box had failed and burnt out the clutches. Quality job and warranty cost me $2100.

ZF themselves have an exchange system. Contact them & see if they have one ready to go. They may not these days but you never know.

Thanks for the info guys.
The RR is still going. But as it happens i have just tonight bought a Disco 2 Td5 2001. I will see if this fits my needs for a week or two. If it doesnt i will get the RR done up and sell the Td5.
