I looked for one for a year, then gave up and brought an se with everything bar the dvd and sunroof
good luck in your search. I had 3 car brokers and was on file at most lr dealers in aust. I did see 2 but they were a bit quirky and didn't fit my wifes colour choice.

Discowhite has a 2003 TD5 D2a HSE, if you want to see it, it's in the Members Rides section.

Dave, pre-2003MY the top spec is an ES. The SE could be spec'd up near to equivalent though. Guy in town had a 2000MY ES with everything optioned from new for a while. After the 2003MY came out in late 2002 the spec's went Discover II, S, SE, HSE. The S and upwards were all 7 seat and the plain one (what we had) was only in 5 seat and coil sprung.
The ES and then SE and HSE also came with 18" rims. The others were 16" generally unless optioned.

Perhaps there are only V8s as those that ordered one were under the impression that petrol was as rare as a D2 HSE and they were going to burn their fare share before it ran out:p:p:p:p

naw,, they probably built them at the same ratio as all d2's,
about ten to 1
diesels to v8's

Thanks Baz. You wouldn't have a link to the site by any chance? I went to members rides and there are 456 threads.

Its not a HSE, but, there is a VERY nice TD5 at Ritter in Melbourne at the moment. Its an S Classic Town with 7 seats, self levelling suspension, leather, rear parking sensors, 18" alloys and side steps. It is finished in Java black with black leather interior.
Its not cheap, but it did strike me as being in absolute A1 condition. Very nice.

Hey Pedro,
I bought it when it was three months old (about 1500km on the clock). A good deal because the showroom price tag had devalued by about 40 grand :) The first owner traded it in for the first of the D3's that came out within weeks of him taking possession.
The wheels are OEM 18". There are a few around here with them on.

And 33k buys you a D3 SE petrol with same kms.
Love diesel but a petrol D3 with air suspension for the same money?
It would need to come with a lifetime supply of "I own an HSE" t-shirts to make it worth it [tonguewink]
