11MY Changes

Just got informed by the dealer of the changes for 11MY model. My SE is to be build next month and will be the new spec. The changes are;
· Added HSA - Hill Start Assist - release the park brake in a controlled manner. to allow time to press the accelerator and prevent roll back.
· Added GAC - Gradient Acceleration Control - active when HDC is not on and applies the brakes to prevent a runaway allowing the drive time to control the vehicle.
· Colour changes
o Alaska White -> Fuji White
o Buckingham Blue -> Baltic blue
o Izmir Blue -> Siberian Silver
· Changes to the badges on the tailgate
· LR logo changes from green and gold to green and silver (on grille and steering wheel...)
· The SE looses the bi-xenons but keeps the signatures, the xenons are now $700.....This is the main thing that affects me...
· Privacy glass will be an option in Nov - $1100
· Tyre pressure monitoring - $1310
· Price changes HSE + $110!!! V8 + $1040 insignificant, but isn't the aussie dollar still pretty strong?
I'm disappointed about the bi-xenons, guess the HSA and GAC are a bonus, just can't have enough acronyms!

Option up & get the bi-xenons. Even at that price they are worth it!
The quality of the light output is way better than halogens.
Strange that they should drop them though...

I assume privacy glass is like window tinting?

Strange that the green and gold should go , but the absence of
xexon lights on the SE is a bloody disgrace .........

I've got a state-of-the-art xexon spot & flood combo for the Kubota , and they only cost $640 all up.

Thanks MartyJB, that's far more than the dealer can tell me, and I've got a 11MY HSE on order. All he could tell me was that I was getting Fuji White. Glad nothing's been Dropped from the HSE. Had my price locked in with an order back in May, so price rise won't apply.

Fuji White is quite nice. Whiter than the old white, really suits the D4. :BigThumb:
