View Full Version : Rear lights on D2

Im finishing my rear bar this weekend and im only going to be running the indicator lights in the rear bar,ive got them working but there flashing to fast.There are 3 wires coming out each side ive tried a couple different combo's but still arent working.Would anyone know the right way to go about it?

By removing the main one it won't have enough current with one less globe. Being the same thing as a blown bulb, the flasher oscillates faster signalling a blown globe.
Same thing happens with LED bulbs if you don't use a load resistor.
IIRC one wire is rear fog, one is flasher and the other is earth if you have red/orange bumper lights for D2.

Why are you disconnecting the normal ones???

Thanks for the reply,im building a rear bar for my disco and i only wont to put in the indicators,plus it has park lights and brake lights up top.Im just trying to simplify things i suppose lol.
