I was surfing the net today and found a forum called "outerlimits4x4"
Is it associated to a 4wd modification shop?
Members seemed to talk about custom mods

Nah mate, the site is not affiliated with any companys, but there is a wealth of knowledge on there. It is moreso for the hardcore 4wds than tourers but still a lot of people in the know.

As Vern inferred, there's more than a few familiar usernames on OL, particularly the Rover board :D

But do Rovercare and Vern know who they are? :D
Outerlimits is associated with Haultech, but you'd be lucky to find any commercial content from them.

It's a great site if you have a slightly or more modded vehicle. Tech info is top notch. Wealth of info in the Rover stickies. The real crazy stuff is on Pirate 4x4 and a lot of outers (and some aulro) members are on that too.
Some of the solutions to 'electronic' problems that LR owners have (that could cost gazillions at a dealer to sort) are to be found on these sites if the question is asked.
cheers, DL

Not anymore AFAIK. RUFF owns the site these days, and no longer works for Haultech.

Ah, that explains the server/board change.
I used an old bookmark last week and it went AWOL.
I had to google the board to find my way back. :D

Ahhh ok. Is Ruff wearing the cost of it all too?
I was under the impression that Sam may have been getting more into horses or something. I was a bit surprised when he lost it half way through his last build, something that he had in the back of his mind for a long time.

I think Ruff bought it a couple of years ago...

not sure - best to ask Ruff.
AFAIK Sam's wife has always been into horses. Maybe Sam has caught the bug.

I dont need to hide, I'm the same everywhere I go.
Let’s take it back to 1992 just quickly
I came into this world, and thought
Ima gonna name this little user trobbo
Plain old boring old trobbo
And I always thought
If I had a different name, would my life be different?
Like, Imagine if I had a name like Jimmy Recard
