I am seeking opinions on this vehicle. The pics aren't very good but talking to the salesman it is in top nick.

It is going to auction next wednesday but will take offers. The listed price is the reserve.

Has anyone had anything to do with CarNet Auctions in Smithfield Sydney?

Dave.

Thanks Ranga. Yes this is it. I was sooo excited about finding one I forgot to put the link in.

I will go back to my post now and do it.

It isn't an Australian native plant. You'd think it was Qlds emblem though given how much of it is around here.

That is what I like about this forum - I did not notice the brake lever and had to go back and have a 2nd look - and agree.
Dave - are you getting rid of the D1?

If looking, I too would prefer one with a few less kms than 175,000.

This one that appeared last night on carsales appears to be good:

2003 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY HSE TD5 MY2003 Cars For Sale in VIC - carsales.com.au - carsales.com.au (http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/dealer/details.aspx?R=9147004&__Qpb=true&Cr=1&__Ns=pCar_LastModifiedDate_DateTime%7c1&keywords=&__N=1216%201247%201252%201282%204294965541%2042949 65540%20937%204294950691&SearchAction=N&silo=1011&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=37&__sid=124D93668CEC)

Td5 HSE, under 140,000km, service history, and most importantly for a HSE - it is BLACK! :D

...and it's in VIC!

I would get down there and view this one before bidding on the Sydney auction one.

Sounds like a beauty. Low k's and history is the key to a happy marriage.;)

It's only an 'S' the dealer made a mistake.

When I find a suitable replacement. I had my heart set on a D3 HSE, but they are still way out of my price range and they seem to be taking forever to come down in price, so I have resigned myself to a D2 if I can find one.
