After a warm day we thought our hopes were dashed but we went anyway.
Spent the afternoon at Polblue at the Barrington Tops NP, kids got to see snow for the first time and had a ball.
Will post some more photos tomorrow after we get back staying at Gloucester overnite and going back up in the morning.
It was a comfy 4Deg C.

The view from the Dingo Gates Scone side, 5Kms of downhill wet and slippery with BIG dropoffs in parts, this is 7Kms from the snow.

It's a great drive that one.... particularly the descent from the Gate. I've never braved it this time of year though. It's good to see the snow on the snow grass (not surprising at 1200m above sea level).

A couple of times ago my Disco's alternator died on the way up the hill from Gloucester...barely made it back home.

Never braved it this time of year though.

First time for me, I was locked in 2nd all the way down the steep parts, didnt want to rely on the brakes that much.

Nice pics, supprised there is snow around at the moment, it was actually a pretty nice day here today, the Disco looks much better with that bar on :)

The snow was left over from the cold change on Thursday night. We were lucky that it hung around until Friday afternoon, and surprisingly a lot of it was still there on Saturday too. There's definitely a bit more clearance at the front of the Disco with the new bar, all you have to do now is convince Mrs Dazza that it looks better. :D

Nice pic's. We were up there last year after the snow. Great fun, and a totally different look with the white landscape.
