Took the 130 for a drive down to Penrith the other day, it's the first I've had it on the highway since doing the swivel bearings. It's also the first time in a while that I haven't been driving the dreaded Caravelle. Unlike the Caravelle, the Defender likes to go around corners.

Thrashed it like a scoundrel.

And it was all good, even made it to 110 - 120 on the dial.

The short bit of freeway across the Nepean between Emu Plains and either the Mulgoa Rd or Northern Rd exits at Penrith ?

and an indicated 120km/h in a 235/85R/16 tyred Defender should be 110km/h at the speedo's 7-8% optimistic display :D

Yep, just that, about 5Km of 110 between Emu Plains exit and second Penrith exit. 120 on the dial, 110 on the GPS.
