your right i should see the fire engine doctor, i was however being helpful, as i thought this was a good idea for the puma..... and had not seem such a device before...

As to buying it, iam sure a Belgium Defender, is out of my reach, and its awful anyway....

A bit heavy handed with the red paint aren't they ?
That could be a reasonable idea for most defenders I would think.
And with a double joint would allow you to drop the wheel nearly to the floor under control heaps more helpful.

It's not a spare wheel mount - it's a service platform. You fold it down and then step on the spare wheel to reach under the bonnet.

It seems like it would create an even bigger blind spot being mounted so much further to the front.

As said it may hinder, forward vision too, i know they were talking on the SA forums, about these, someone makes a kit, it was bad enough on the old 300tdi, hate to think what it would do to a new puma..Lol

Still looking, Nenoveland, do one for around $2500, but i am hopeful i can get some one local to make something up based upon there pattern....

Nah, doubt it, if you open the bonnet and see how high the engine sits.
