the light wont go out

:confused: Hi all I have a 1990 RR and the interior light wont go out so i am think it is the interior lamp delay thing. My ? is were do i find it and what does it look like.

Could be the delay unit - it should be lurking under the drivers side panel just to the right of the steering column - it is a red box in my 85, not sure if they changed this by 90. There is another thread somewhere that has some info as well. The problem could also be a wire fallen off one of the switches and earthing out.

thanks for the info didnt think about switches but do you know if the bonnet switches work the interior lights as the are missing.

id start by pulling all the door switches out as ive had similar probs from the wire coming off the back of the LHR door switch as the light would come on whilst cornering .
its only a 5 min job with a phillips screwdriver and usualy the wire breaks off and get caught also a small hook made from say .9 mig wire will also help fish out the loose wire from the cavity
