Went to a brewshop in Perth today.
Came out with 2 nice brews.
A BeezNeez kit(Try a BeezNeez stubbie if they sell it over there, its a nice WA Boutique Brew),Larger brew tin with 1kg wheat malt,15g Pride of Ringwood Hops,Muntons gold yeast. You add 500gm of honey,I bought 1kg to throw in!!!
Second I bought a Muntons Mountmellick 1.8kg Dublin stout.Did one of these last year, was a nice brew.I got a Milk Stout brew blend to go with it.
Brew day tommorow.Gingerbeer into the kegs these 2 onto brew.
Probably my last stout for the year now its starting to warm up.

Wish you lived a bit closer Andrew, we could have a bit of a chinwag about graders, dozers etc, (cut my eye teeth on an old Galion back in the late 60's), whilst we work on those kegs, we could even discuss a bit of fishing. A mate and myself drove a couple of Cat 12E's from Mt.Isa to Dingo in Qld back in '72 to do a road job there. Took us a couple of full days to get there. Had a big esky on one of them and when we got thirsty we would kiss wheels and could just manage to pass a coldy from one to the other. No aircon cabs in those days, not even proper hydraulics (clacker controls as you would know).

Just opened the Beez Neez keg.
Its every bit as good if not better than the real thing.
After 2 pints its now on my favorites list.
Will be doing this brew again.

Andy, you gotta try the Brewcraft Fat Yak. Soooo much better than the real thing. Its the closest thing ive had to an actual Bootleg Brewery Settlers Pale and their seasonal "57".
Mines only been bottled for about 3 weeks and it gets better everytime i crack a tester :) In a keg, i reckon it would have to be in the top 3 of my pale ales from anywhere.
