A friend is moving to Perth, WA, from Africa and is trying to find out if the 275/55/19 tyres fitted to his RRS are legal. The car was ordered with Australian spec and has a compliance card, but he's unsure about the tyres and whether or not they'll check the size when it arrives in Perth.
Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

In WA the maximum legal variation in tyre diameter is 50mm. So he should be fine - these work out to around 48mm bigger.
