YouTube- FSF is Firestorm Films REDUX music 750ML

Hello all, this is my first post on aulro,, i must say big congrats to all for such a great site,, loads of info and plenty of good characters.

I am an editor/camera operator from Melbourne, I mainly film action Sports, the video above will give you a fair idea of what i do, the name of my company is called Firestorm Films or FSF for short.

I have just bought a 1987 county 110 V8 from my brother, it was too good to see it go, so i had to buy it. My family has always owned land rovers i think 4 was the most in the driveway at one time. I got a 1964 landrover ute when i was 15 and did that up with my dad. We got rid of it about 2 years ago, it was fun but it was shagged we live right on the coast so the salt is a killer.

The county has a pop up roof/camper and has a new motor which has been built good, it runs a holley, the snorkel isn't fitted up at the moment. I have just got the gearbox rebuilt (5speed santana) and i also purchased a new exhaust, it has a warn winch an arb bullbar and rear spare wheel carrier. It has some after market susupension. (not sure what)
She hasn't been driven much in a few years so i have spent the last few weeks chipping away at it in my spare time.

It does need some paint and a bit of tread plate here and there and she is good to go.
I will take her for some trips before i get too carried away.

all the best everyone and i hope you enjoy the video.

Welcome to the forum and congrats for your excellent video.
I guess that you are a candidate to be the oficial AULRO film producer from now on :D
I love to see photos of your County and details of the roof conversion.
Cheers

Cheers mate glad you liked the video. I can not wait to go film some land rovering.

The roof conversion i am in the dark about, i have searched on the net and could not find a thing about them, my brother got the truck like that from a previous owner, it had bigger tires and the twin stroms and it was on gas, we had a spare 3.5 v8 in the shed that had the holley setup, so we threw that in and got rid of the LPG.
The popup is basically a double bed in the roof, it consists of two panels that make up the bed the rear panel slides forward when not you are not sleeping so as you can stand up in the back, the front section of the roof/bed above the driver is made from fibreglass as is the whole unit, the roof is spring assisted and takes about 20 seconds to setup. You can easily fit a full winter doona with matresses on the bed while the roof is closed.
