Has anyone installed an aftermarket water-in-fuel sensor in their D3/4/RRS? I was shown one some time ago that Davis Performance mount in the engine bay but at the time didn't think it would be necessary on my vehicle. However today I gained access to the one in my D4 to start sealing the sensor wiring connectors to overcome a fault where the water in fuel warning is issued every time I drive through a puddle and realised that it is unreaslistic to drain the water trap on the roadside due to the covers that have to be removed. Hence I'm now thinking it might be a good idea afterall.

I don't have one...yet.
I've been considering the same Bruce Davis set-up since seeing it on his own Def90 SVX.
I'd be interested in anyone elses opinions too...

Have a look in the DISCO3.CO.UK - Dedicated to Discovery 3 and LR3 Owners and Enthusiasts (http://www.disco3.co.uk) forum under the African section. They have poor quality fuel and some have looked at getting aftermarket filters.
