Hi all, I was told by ULR Malvern that they have ordered a container full of Pirelli 19" tyres. It is supposed to arrive this month.
I suspect it will be under heavy guard.
Cheers, Craig

I've gone off the 19" Pirelli ATRs due to them not dispersing water and giving me little moments in puddle strips at 100-110 kph. Skating 2.7T around bends is not particularly comfortable especially at night. They either aquaplane or cause the vehicle to be pulled hard to that side. The lateral grooves around the outside are only about half the depth of the rest of the tyre when new but don't know if this is the cause. Mine have done 26K and the outside grooves are not very deep at all now and will be useless in another 10K or so.

Very interesting Graeme. I am going going to find out tomorrow if it is the ATR's that ULR are bringing in.
General Grabber AT2's are coming out later this month in a 19".
I intend to find out more. Found this on the Disco UK forum.
Cheers, Craig

I thought they might be a different pattern, having seen a reference to them being labelled AT rather than AT2. I'd prefer a much more open pattern than the Pirelli.

Not sure Michael. According to the UK forum, they are due in the UK mid this month and here the end of this month. I am going to find out through my local tyre dealer.
There was mention that they will be an AT not an AT2. After looking on the General website, both look good to me.
Let you know when I hear more.
