Hi there, I've got a 2002 Disco, and there is something up with the central locking. The front doors and the back door work perfectly, but the 2 rear doors only lock, they don't unlock via remote. To unlock them I need to unlock them by using the internal door handle.
Does anyone have any ideas?

G'day, do the doors unlock via the rocker switch on the dash?

No they don't unlock, but they do lock from that interior switch as well. It's been driving me crazy.

This might be out in left field a bit, but have you tried pushing the remote a second time to see if the doors unlock then?

Just wondering if the ECU has had a dummy spit, and dropped into some sort of default mode.

Yeah mate its a doozy. I'm thinking now.............bad earth? nah. No supply voltage? nah. Has to be something with the body control ECU. Possably a Nanocom could diagnose?

No.... not a bad earth or anything like it.... the door locking mechs are stuffed and they are not serviceable. Mine are the same and will be replaced shortly. I have already done the front two and the rear door.

If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me.

Thanks for all the help guys, so if the locking mechs are stuffed, Where's the best place to buy new ones? Also, if i take it to a land rover dealer would they be able to test and make sure it is the mechs and not some wiring issue?

I would NOT take it to a dealer:twisted:, a specialist is the way to go.;)
