Hi People.
First time visit here, anybody been snatching from their tow balls this week????
I mentioned in WA AULROians about lay flat hose, got a quick reply so I thought I would post here.
The post I replyed to was Steve being concerned his new non rangie FLASH bullbar would require the snatch strap to chaffe on the bullbar during recovery.
My reply was to go and buy some "lay flat firefighter hose"
I carry several lengths in my recovery kit.You use it as a condom over your recovery straps.Has 2 uses.It prevents damage from rock abrasion and doubles as a recoil deterent in the case of a strap/recovery point failure.5m plus lenghts, rolls up pretty small.

I've also been using 65mm hose to run ratchet straps through to stop them chaffing things on the roof rack.
