Power steering pump slop

Was doing a oil change in my 300 disco yesterday and noticed the power steering pump has a small amount of ply in it. Is this normal or should i be out looking for a new pump soon or can they be rebuilt?

A bit of play appears to be usual but if it gets too much they can throw the belt off.
Use it for the time being but budget for a new pump in the near future.
