Hello All, Have been on the trail for radio code instructions for my Defender Extreme 2002 which seems to have a retro-fitted radio/CD unit and not the issue radio/cassette. We accquired the vehicle last week and the radio screen showed "CODE 1." Needless to say the radio instructions are misssing, however we removed the unit to find it has Serial Number 396000852.8; Make Eurovox, Model 4880F. Land Rover Sydney advised our code is 4341. Can anyone advise how we should enter the code sequence? Thanks, Nick. PS. we have Dave's RAVEll CD manual covering up to 2003 Defenders, but the CD type unit is not shown. Is there a supplementry instruction for Eurovox?

Hi Nick,
From memory,
Press radio preset button No.1 4 times then,
Press radio preset button No.2 3 times then,
Press radio preset button No.3 4 times then,
Press radio preset button No.4 1 time then the radio should burst into action...
Cheers.

Sniegy, Many thanks for following up on this thread.. Determined to solve this issue after 10 days of ownership, at about 2300 last night I cracked the radio code. It was simply a matter of just pushing the buttons 4341 ignoring what popped up on the screen. Pushing multiple buttons to get the number showing was incorrect as it turns out and just locked the radio. Again thank you everyone for your help. Nick, Tasmania

Well Done[thumbsupbig]
Sorry for the mis-leading info, As LR have many different radio's its sometimes hard to remember what needs to be done to each of them without physically looking at the head unit.
Cheers & Enjoy the Beast.
