Hi all.

I got a secondhand Airflow snorkel from Triumph Rover Spares. All I got was the main snorkel piece, head and an the clamp that attaches it to near the window. From what I got I would think it was an S81 version, which I found the PDF of for installation. Link to PDF here (http://www.google.com.au/url'sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CBcQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gibsonrm.com.au%2Fproductwnlo ad.php%3Fid%3D67%26tbl%3Dtbl_product%26field%3Dfit ting_instructions%26folder%3Dproductdownload&rct=j&q=airflow%20s81%20installation&ei=1sKUTPOgDo2-cf3xtaQF&usg=AFQjCNHBm0mhtBbOkfR7aZDW_L1OWi_Jkg&cad=rja)

From looking at that it relates to a European version, but should still fit.

What I'm wondering though is if it's meant to be the s36, which seems to be the standard and has a tube.

I'm assuming that it's better to have a tube running from the snorkel piece to somewhere along the airline. If anyone has an Airflow Snorkel, or even something similar (as I may have to rig up something myself), please let us know where you connected the two together.

*Edit* Never mind, after a closer inspection in the dark a rain I realised that yes, I will definitely need a tube. I think I can see where to attach it too as well.

If you have the inside of the wing you will be right though you need a gasket or some Sikaflex to the wing side (both would be good) there should be a block on the inside of the wing with the airbox and extendable tube connected to it.
The snorkel should face up to the plastic insert on the wing back and screw up to it with sealent to make it water tight.
