Hi guys, im a new addition to the vendor side of things but a piece of the furniture here at AULRO.

As some may know i run a website The 4wd Zone Homepage (http://the4wdzone.com/), its been a work in progress for some time, I have just changed jobs so the site hasnt been upgraded for a while yet. There is also an online store attached to the site which is currently being updated. I can stock a range of off road accessories from IPF, Lightforce and CAT Series HID lights to tools, LED Torches and Leatherman multi tools, all of which comes at special prices for AULRO members.

Until the shop is re-opened with revised items and prices im doing a special for AULRO members on LED Lenser LED torches. They are a high quality item used US law enforcement and other law enforcement agencies around the world. They feature a patented lense focusing system that eliminated the dark rings that other torches have in the beam of light. This patented lense technology also allows for for greater range, the largest torch in the range the X21 has a light range of over 500m.

Images and models are below with the prices if you want to flick through the LED Lenser website and check each torch out and each torches features etc. I have inlcuded RRP in brackets after my price for each torch.

I can order at any time, add $6.00 to the price of each for postage. If people want to combine freight with a couple of torches freight will be $9.00. I can send express post or registered post on request. These prices are based on a bulk order for several people. I really need over $200 worth of orders to keep these prices where they are as orders under that from my supplier attract a surcharge. I will leave the thread for a couple of weeks and see what interest I get then I'll do an order. People can pay via paypal but I'd prefer direct bank deposit so i can avoid the paypal fees.

Pouches are available for the smaller torches and belt clips are available for the larger torches.

If i get enough orders I will donate a P17 torch to AULRO to auction off to help contribute to the running of the site.

There are a lot of other items available through LED Lenser, such as the novelty lights called moppel, these make great presents for the kids. Moppel's range in price from $25-35 bucks.

Leatherman specials will be next. Matt

To save people asking about the pouches and clips I can throw most of them in if you get one with a torch for between $10-15 bucks.

There is also a red traffic control cone available for the P7, P14 and Police tech focus for $10 extra.

I also forgot to add the tactical range of torches. These have a series of functions such as a strobe light, the blink SOS in morse code and they also allow a burst of extra more powerful light to be emitted if the button is pushed on but not enough to turn the torch on.

The tactical torches include:

MT7: $120 (RRP: $160)

M14: $149 (RRP: $189)

they are a top quality torch, i believe better than Maglite.

I also forgot to mention that I am approved seller of the LED Lenser brand and purchase my stock from the only authorised wholesaler of the brand in Australia. As a result I can gaurantee good aftermarket support in terms of any warranty issues and spare parts.

I got a P7 I bought and it has one hand focus.
I believe thats whats called police focus by some.

They are good, have a great pouch but are also available via Hong Kong for $50.

Batteries on high do not last 130hrs though, more like 3 hrs but the light is incredible for their size.;)

whats a police focus?

The bottom torch in the first post Lou. The name of the torch is Police Tech Focus. It allows focusing to be done by moving the head in and out, which can be done with one hand as mentioned by Big Guy. Its a model the LED Lenser developed for Law Enforcement. Its compact size makes it more convenient to fit on an appointments belt making it far more user friendly than a huge maglite and its performs just aswell.

Hi mate, the ones with R in the model name denote a rechargeable model. The P5, X21 and also the M7 from my second post are all available in rechargeable versions.

They have an internal batteray which can be plugged into a car cig lighter (cig lighter charger is extra) but they come with a USB charger so you can plug into a laptop or a wall plug in charger.

The X21 comes with a cradle which can be screwed to a wall in the house so it can be hung up to charge when not in use.

Wolfeye are on par with Led Lenser but as far as i know the wolf eye is rechargeable is that right?

Both a top quality torch, general LED Lenser torches are cheaper than the Wolf Eye torch because they are not rechargeable. The Police tech focus is very similar to the wolf eye in terms of performance so I am lead to believe.

They are good, have a great pouch but are also available via Hong Kong for $50.

As with all cheaper suppliers from Hong Kong on ebay they lack after sales service and warranty care. Im am an authorised supplier of the products and can honour manufacturers warranty. Not to mention the hong kong supplier doesnt support AULRO.

Can you put me down for a Police Tech Focus. Are we able to purchase additional pouches. I have 2 of the Classic David 19 which are excellent torches. The main problem I have is that the velcro on the pouches wears out after a while and will not stay closed. I use my torch for about 2 hrs a day/every weekday and it is constantly getting put in and out of the pouch.

Hmm, thought you'd still prefer the maglite on the job as opposed to the lenser, the lenser just wouldn't have the same "effect" as the maglite:o

I got a lenser, great jigger, couple mates have those big ****ers, pretty awseome thing:cool:

Yeah but the maglite is not supposed to be used in 'that' way  and it would be wrong of me to do so. Besides, expandable battons do way more damage, but with a taser the batton never comes out of its pouch.

The problem is at work is that half of the maglites dont work, or the chargers in the vehicles are broken so they are flat. Most of the guys, and girls, at work have their own because you just cant rely on the police issue ones to work.

Not a problem, at all.

The closest suitable pouch for your torches is the spare pouch they sell for the P5 which is 120mm long and 26mm in diameter.

The police tech focus comes in a gift box with the pouch included but the spare pouch for that is the same as the one for the P7 which is 10mm or so longer than the PTF model.

Because you are buying the pouches aswell i'll knock $5 off the torch, prices below:

Police Tech Focus: $80
2 x P5 Pouches: $30
1 x P7 Pouch: $15.
Total: $125

Hi mate, one of the products I stock is Niteize who do an LED upgrade that suits the C and D cell maglites. I cant help with the reflector but the bulb is a simple replacement of the normal fillament bulb but is an LED, its no different to changing the current bulb with one the same.

There are 2 available, one is a less powerful bulb and is $20 the other is a 1 watt bulb, is shock resistant and costs $35 (I noticed the local gunshop in town was selling this model for $48 bucks)

Add $4 for postage, the pack will just fit in a padded envelope.

Whats the cost of the M7R? Does it have the same features as the MT7 or does the rechargeable version miss out on some? Also can the M7R be left on the car charger or will that damage the battery and is the wall mount suitable for mounting the torch in the car?

I'd be looking at something like the M7R plus pouch plus car charger kit.

I think I've found a new bday present that the missus can get me :D

Hi Stuee, check out the link below, in short yes the M7R comes with the same features as the MT7, but check the link and work through that aswell, it demonstrates the functions of each, the M7R is listed with these.

Led Lenser M-Series (http://www.m-series.com.au/)

Ok, in relation to the mounting it in the car question, yes you can.

You need to buy Part ZL0380 which is a car adaptor which replaces the 240v plug on the end of the charging lead with a Cig lighter socket fitting and the USB plug on the end of the cord from the charger plugs into this so you can wire a cig lighter socket to somewhere in the car that has constant power and mount the charging cradle into the car.

Cost for the torch, the cig lighter socket plug for the car and a pouch is:
$160 for the torch (RRP $230)
$15 for the Cig Socket adaptor (RRP $22- Dick Smith Sells them for $20)
$15 for the sheath- it doesnt come with one so i've got the supplier looking for one that fits the best. It wont be a 100% fit but will more than adequately carry the torch.

Total Price delivered: $190.

Is the car charger just a 12v cig lighter plug to usb converter then? If so I already have on of these which I use for the my mp3 player and phone. This is what it appears when I just had a look then but if you could confirm that would be great.

Pending that put me down for the torch (M7R) and sheath only at this stage and PM me with payment details :D

Hi Nigel, check out this link for details on the gun mount

Gun Mount - LED LENSER Optoelectronics (http://www.ledlenser.com.au/2009/ENG/products/html_accessories/gunMount.php?id=gunMount)

I doubt it would be suitable for use mounting the torch in a vehicle, well not if you wanted to get the torch out and take it outside and use it. If you wanted it mounted somewhere permanently then I guess it could be used.

If you want something to clip it onto in the car there is a clip that is designed to clip onto a belt, the clip just goes over your belt and there is a u-shaped clip that the torch clips into when you arent using it. You could modify that and fix it inside the car somewhere to clip the torch into. But if you modified it you wont be able to use it on your belt anymore as i'd suggest you would need to cut the bit that goes around the inside of your belt off to give you a flat surface to fix to something in the car.

As for whether the P7 or the Police Tech Focus is a better choice for general 4wding use I'd go for the Police Tech Focus, similar performance, its smaller and more compact and its cheaper.

Clip will set you back $12 if you get one with the torch.

The the Police Tech focus also comes with a pouch.

The gun mount is for mounting the torch to 21-25mm scopes.

this will be extremely handy does the P17 do this if it does put me down for one

Hi Kelvin, yes i believe they do, they both have the same focusing system and the same lense system.

As opposed to twisting the head like a maglite would the head of the torch is pushed inwards or outwards to focus, and thus can be done with one hand.

Dp you want the intelligent clip that allows for the torch to be clipped onto your belt? Will be an extra $15

I will be getting a P17 for work aswell as a police Tech Focus to carry on my new Load Baring Vest.

Just to keep everyone updated. I was expecting the order to be delivered today, it didnt arrive so I rang them to find out where it was. The order was processed on Friday but hasnt been sent yet  I expressed my distaste an asked that it be sent out ASAP, so hoping to have it be the end of the week. Not happy Jan, so sorry guys.

Hi all, well after nearly 2 weeks waiting, not happy with the supplier, the torches are in, exept 33chucinars torch, it wont be in till next week, as per the PM (not happy about they either, they told me they had them all). Anyways they have all been posted out today, they should be with you guys by wednesday/thursday at the latest depending on how Australia Post is working. Some might be there earlier if you live in NSW.

Any questions PM me.

I'd hope you should have it wednesday, but you never know with Aus Post.

I got a couple of different ones to play with and took them to work last night and tested them out, very effective and powerful torches.

No worries guys, sorry chinacars, mate I sent them another email today asking them to ship it direct to you so it gets to you quicker as opposed to coming to me and then me posting it to you.

Glad you like them guys, I took the police tech focus and the P17 i bought to work on tuesday night and had a play around with them. Awsome torches, excellent performance, the P17 is something else.
