Try reloading everything on the SD card (assuming its got one).
My DealExtreme GPS had a problem recently where it just hung. Fixed it by formatting and reloading the card.
The battery on mine is dead, so it may have been caused by losing power and corrupting a file somewhere.

Hmm,
mine's sitting here trying to charge on 240,, sometimes the lightning bolt appears sometimes not.
never works at all unless some external power is provided.
This ones been played with by Ranga,, so I dont have the original software,, (I think!)

there are LOTS of win 6 CE monthly patches available,, mines build ZERO ,,

is windows 6 CE even updatable at the consumer end?
the usb port hasnt got enough grunt to run the gps,,
and with a dead battery it makes things dificult--
and no, I get about 4 miliseconds on a full charge ;)
on the last effort I got a low memory message, "please add more memory to program memory"
this thing has 4gb so it should run quite well,, but to swap memory over I need to get into the control panel, and theres no icon for that--
I think dealextreme are quite happy to replace it,(because of the dead battery), I just dont want a 4 week wait,,,
late edit; found the control panel--

So it boots up OK, and only falls on its ear when you go to load iGo?
Do you have any other programs on it? If so, do they load OK?
I doubt that its got 4Gb of memory. You might have a 4Gb SD card in it, but I don't think thats what its complaining about. I think there will be a certain amount of RAM in the device itself - maybe thats died :-(
Do you know anyone else that has a similar GPS that you could swap your SD card with just for a test?
What might also be worth a try is to try copying all the files back off the SD card to your hard drive. Even though you have reloaded it, there could still be something funny with the SD card that only shows up when you try to read from it.
About all I can think of for now.

DealExtreme: $105.30 6" LCD Windows CE 6.0 Core 500MHz GPS Navigator w/FM Transmitter + Built-in 4GB Memory USA Map (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.37914)
it reads from the micro sd card ok,, plays music from it fine,,
I think I just need to reload windows 6,,,
its on a ROM and can be copied to like a bios,, aparently?

Correct Pedro,
Win Mobile 6 does need to be reloaded, however its not something you can do with those devices off the bat. I do have something at the office that may be able to do it but would need to confirm that it'll work for your device.
Will let you know...
