Land Rover has released the first picture of the five-door Range Rover Evoque. The picture follows after the first unofficial spyshot that leaked onto the internet last week. The vehicle will be revealed at the Los Angeles Motor Show in mid-November.
Like the three-door model, two 2.2-liter turbodiesel powerplants, with 148bhp and 187bhp, are available that the start of the sales. Both of the models will have stop-start as standard when accompanied by a manual gearbox. There will also be a petrol version, using a 237bhp variant of Ford’s turbocharged 2.0 liter Ecoboost engine. Four-wheel drive and an updated six-speed automatic are availabel asl well.
On the inside several features will be available like in any other Range Rover. A panoramic roof, a dual-view TFT screen for simultaneous sat-nav and television display, 1200W stereo Meridian system with 17 speakers are available on the option list. Furthermore you can get almost any option from the Range Rover Sport option list, such as park assist, dual-zone climate control, a powered tailgate, adaptive headlights, a heated windscreen and cameras all-around the vehicle.
Stay tuned for the full release of the five-door Evoque!

My Local Landy dealer in SA rang 2 weeks ago confirming my name on the waiting list and to perhaps place a deposit on the new 2 door thats coming in June next year.
Starting price has now gone to $60k rather than the $45k as 1st discussed.

More pricing will be anounced early in the new year but at $60k I will probably have to pass, by the time I add leather, roof and metallic paint it be around $70k.

Too much for a little buzz box to take kids to school I think.

Patience I keep telling myself.
