Salsbury Diff Question

This is one for all the diff Guru's out there.

I've got a 02 Defender and have the oppertunity to swap diffs (Front & Rear) with a 06 Defender with ARB lockers. I have heard that at some stage LR stopped fitting the salsbury diffs to the Defenders. So the question is, does the 06 model Defenders still have the salsbury diffs fitted?

Nope, IIRC your '02 was the last year with a Sals fitted.

so you can swap the front but will have to source a different locker for the rear sal.

and thats IF your 02 has a sals... my 02 doesnt.. and most that i saw didnt... i think most 01's have them tho....

I think they changed the diff when they changed the body tie downs on the rear cross member from external to internal...
