Hi Guys,
I've got a 110 county with a knackered firewall and I will be replacing it with a Tdi Defender one.
Looking around before I started the general consensus was that the only difference was going to be the gearbox tunnel and the front wing mounts.. but looking more closely there are a few more differences.. like the heater.
Has anyone fitted a Tdi heater to a county? I've got the A/C dash (and A/C that works with a second unit in the back) but I may have to remove the front one.
If I fit a Tdi heater unit, will I have to replace the instrument surround as well and move the heater control?
I could cut a big hole in the Tdi firewall and fit the county A/C / heater box but I'd rather not as that is where all the rust started.. and I'd like to be able to have the option of fitting a turbo later (in which case I'd have to remove the A/C unit anyway....)
