5000k on clock ,,primarily dirt and at long last i am happy to report ....the paint has cracked between the turret and the roof both sides ,above the b pillars....has anyone else experienced this in 2010 110 wagon??
On another note ,finally fitted h/d 130 coils to the front ......vast improvment in the ride .no more bottoming out...vehicle carrys arb bar / mulgo step-sliders,,,,,has leveled out..nicely...and is vastly happier to punch down rough roads at speed......ride is a touch rougher on the black top ..but hardly worth a mention for the gain.
'
entire job took me little over an hr ,,with cargo straps used to compress coils ,they virtually fell in.....initally front sat proud 10 odd ml higher than rear but has now settled in.............cheers

For a little more 'character'.........grab a fist sized rock and gently throw it at the side of your car. This will take away the disappointment of getting your first dent when out on a trip, and thus ruining your weekend :D:p

yours is the 3rd puma that Ive heard of this happening to, in both other cases the roof was not correctly attached to the pillars the first case it became apparent when heavily loaded and cross axled the roof popped up about an inch.
as far as I am aware both cases were resolved as warranty work. I may still have the details for the person with the second case.

The HD springs do make it better don't they.
By the by, you didn't need to compress the coils to get them out, there's enough play in the front end to allow them be pulled out and the new ones slid into place.

If you start cross axleing any wagon you'll get cracks, vehicles without a seperate chassis are very prone of it. Pat

i figure as much,,,,,,,,, just had a look theres only one rivet above the gutter either side fixing turret to roof,,,,,,assume the rest of the panel interface is joined with ' tarzans grip ' !!

To a degree the body has no choice but to give, cross axle your vehicle with the door open and then try and close it,you'll get an idea how much they twist. Pat

Mine's done the same thing - haven't followed it up with LR yet.
Done 35k, some dirt, lightly loaded roof basket.

Hi trailcutter,
my 2010 110 has the cracked roof at the join aswell. Take it back to the dealer and atleast register it with the service centre so that when it gets worse it will be repaired and not observed. Mine is being observed at the moment and repaired when they fix the rust in the rear panel and replace the rear diff. But I was told it won't leak water as it is a large overlap between the two sections.
Cheers Jamie
