Can some one bring up a pic of installed after market seats for a 110 Defender ! cause having trouble finding them .

For the Scheel-Mann the whole seat tilts back apparently


Fold-able mount and sliders. With this mount/sliders you are able to slide approx 10 cm more to the back and you can fold the mount backwards to reach the electric underneath. Just unscrew 2 screw at the front of the mount and tip it to the back


I've wondered how the SVX Recaros operate too

The SVX seat base just pops out to give full access on both sides. The back doesn't need to move or tilt at all.

ah cool.. but could be a pain if you had taken out the back seats and kitted it with a fridge etc.

Got the seats from:
RECARO – Idealseat Company – Orthopaedic Seating Specialists – A new dimension in seating (http://www.idealseat.com.au/html/overview_all.html)

They are in Melbourne and to remove the seats just a matter of undoing front bolts and they lift off!

Aerotech seats used to be made in Melbourne and had a lift out squab just like the OE seat for those of us that use the boxes frequently.

Unfortunately when the company was sold to Auto Concepts they dropped the dedicated Defender seat.
