Ooops

I have been looking around the defender td5 (2001) with the Nanocom to get a bit more familiar with what it can do, and I must have pressed something I shouldn't. :( It now no longer starts. Fuel pump operates but.... nothing when I turn the key to on.
If I just have the nanocom connected and look at the "get security status" it tells me the ECU is Immobilised and to press a key to continue.
I assume this is my problem but I cannot see anywhere to reset this.
I have disconnected the battery for a couple of hours and made sure the battery is charged up but no difference
Any help graetfully accepted

IDK nanocom but is there sum were to tell it to re read the ecu security codes, reset them and try again,

sure its not somthing stuped like passive mode set,

Hi,
had a similar problem when my battery got disconnected for a fraction of a second.
Vehicle is D130 Puma 2009 model.
Checking the manual I discovered I should have:
Windows up, nothing turned on.
Put key in ignition, turn on, turn off, remove key, disconnect battery earth within 15 seconds. (pays to loosen the bolt first)

I did the above, then waited 30 seconds and reconnected the battery.

Yea! it started.l

Check your manual, it may say some thing different.

I'll give it a go (except the windows probably as they are manul wind, so I don't think the ecu would care too much about them)

its a mode that wen the car is left unlocked for a amount of time it Immobilize the engine and wont let it start.

The turn key on and off and disconnect battery didn't do anything on mine, so I connected the PC back up and it did say passive mode, so I changed that and it still didn't work so I saved the file, then turned off anything I could find to do with the imobiliser and wrote it back to the ECU and it now starts:):)
So I might turn them back on one at a time and see which one it was
