Hi all
I recently bought a Hawkeye, have two Disco 2s to play with, TD5 and an 8....so this should do both.
However, the format that the codes are in....I can't find them anywhere here (yes...I searched....but not sure what I'm looking for)
Example: 4114 - shuttle valve switch failure (****** yay!)
Can anybody point me to a list of fault codes?
Thanks

Let me guess, your 3 friends come out to play at random intervals? Look at option B in the good oil.
I bet that your shuttle valve switches are fine, just need to permanently wire them back to their wiring loom. It is an easy check any way with a multimeter to test the actual switches.
If you switch to the live data view mode you will probably see an intermittent open circuit being reported for the shuttle valve switches.

Correct - My friends come out, then they run away....
What I'm actually after, is some info on the format of the fault codes. For instance, the FC list here shows a format of say 1-36 = XXX whatever.
I found another code list which lists them as say P10423 or something.
THe Hawkeye spat out a four digit format....4114 was the shuttle valve switch, then there were some logged faults...can't remember exactly, but same format 3126, 3157 etc etc.
Anyone know where I can get that list?
Thanks
Craig.

Hi Craig,
I too haven't found a definitive list. Probably because all of the interesting settings are proprietary Land Rover codes rather than ODBII codes.
Also looking for a decent "User manual" for the Hawkeye. There is scant information provided with the unit. Like how do you programe a new key fob???
I have found the following:
4016:Shuttle Valve Switch Long Term Failure
4111:Shuttle Valve Sticking
4113:Shuttle Valve Switch Dynamic Failure
4114:Shuttle Valve Switch Electrical Failure
4035:R/R Outlet Valve
4075:R/R Outlet Valve Faulty
4167:Pump Motor Failed
There is a P code listing here: Land Rover - Standard OBDII fault codes (http://www.robisonservice.com/servicedep/rover_obd2.asp)

Does this help with the user manual? http://www.aulro.com/afvb/local_links.php?catid=7&filter=&sort=N&page=1&pp=10&keyid=156
Much better than the quick reference that comes with the unit lol
