Freebies are always nice!

We have decided to celebrate joining AULRO with some freebies
We will be giving away 3 of our 2011 Land Rover Calendars
(please see our other post here on the Verandah for details!)

:spudnikparty:How do you enter? :spudnikparty:
Two Options!

1.) Make us your AULRO friend! We can admit it, we're not below bribing you into friendship
Each member who adds us a friend between now and SUNDAY Oct 31st -10pm WST will go into the draw. We will announce TWO winners here and have you PM us the appropriate delivery address.
Simply go to our profile (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/members/lsd_automotive.html) and 'befriend' us :D

2.) Like us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Perth-Australia/LSD-Automotive/150219258338264) & send us a PM here on AULRO to identify your profile. Without the PM we can not include you as you may be just a random non AULRO member who happens to like us!

All eligible 'likes' received between now and Sunday Oct 31st -10pm WST will go into the draw and we will announce ONE winner here (using your AULRO member name, no personal details will be revealed).

Please note: If you choose to 'unlike' us before the end of the competition period we are unable to count your entry
Liking us on facebook will give you access to exclusive promotions!

You are welcome to enter both if you wish!

No catches, just a little celebration :)

Fine Print! LSD Automotive will collect your personal details for the use of the competition ONLY. The winner's details will be provided to Australia Post for the purpose of delivery but no other Third Party. A PO Box, residential address or C/O address is perfectly acceptable. No cost for delivery...it isn't a freebie if we have a hidden charge! Your package will be tracked incase the Postie can't be trusted. We will only deliver to an Australian address

:Rolling:

 Oh Lordy, please don't tell me I need to learn Twitter too!

Blknight - We understand not every one has facebook so we felt it fairer to offer two prizes just for AULRO friends and the one for facebook. If you go to our profile and 'befriend' us you can still enter :)
As for the exclusive offers we will be spreading them out between AULRO and facebook at this stage (and our website at a later date) - for example we have a calendar offer on both but the offer is better here and the competition is AULRO only :)

Thanks for the entries, keep them coming!

I'd love to know what you'd really like to win...restricted to parts and accessories (sorry, new cars are out of our price range!) We will be going 'harder' with our promotions come January and would like them to be as appealing as possible.

Thanks for the opportunity.

When your website is fully up and running I'll/we'll be able to see what's available to select as the "ideal prize" - calendars sound good to start with though.

Looking forward to it.

Things like LR branded merchandise never goes astray. Everything from key-rings to coffee cups to shirts or jackets.

As an alternative, you could possibly offer a 12 mth subscription to AULRO. That way, everyone wins.

The subscription is an excellent idea!

LR Merch would also be great - we are waiting on LR to sign up with it's new manufacturer, their supply is very patchy at the moment due to their anticipated change over. Once that is sorted we would definitely like to be able to offer their range. Thanks for your input!

Id suggest discount coupons valid for time X or vouchers for service.

the discount cards for example

1st 50% off all purchases up to the first $200 (essentialy half price parts up to $200 and $100 off everything over)
2nd 25% off all purchases up to the first $200
3rd %10 off

tickets valid for 3 months and subject to fair use ( Ie I couldnt win one and then use it to buy parts for everyone who wanted me to do some work on their vehicle)

Vouchers for service

1st 10x $50 one use vouchers. One voucher per order no expiry, transferable but not negotiable. (IE a $49 part doesn't get you a part and $1 change or inhouse credit)
2nd 10x $25
3rd 5x $50
4th 5x $25
5th 5x $10

So apart from calenders what are you actually selling? What Land Rover accessories are we talking about? Chrome molly axles to match a 24spline diff or Prada shoes and manbag to match an RRS interior?

Good morning Dobbo - this post might go a little way to answering your question
http://www.aulro.com/afvb/introductions/115809-hello-aulro.html#post1357663

By accessories we primarily mean vehicle accessories -so anything from side steps, diff guards or steering guards to replacement decals (special ordered) to interior accessories like cup holders. Down the track we will be reinvestigating Land Rover Genuine Merchandise (shirts, caps, socks, keyrings, mugs and so on) but they are changing supplier and you have to fight tooth and nail to get consistant access at this stage. I suppose you could also put manuals under the accessories umbrella, we can get those too.

I'm not sure if you've much experience in Prada shoes, but I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable changing gear in a pair of these....matching man bag or not ;)

If there is anything specific you're after I'm happy to look into it
