Ebay replacement key fobs

Hi

Only got one key when I bought my Disco second hand. Have been quoted heaps by LR to get a replacement but was wondering if anyone had experience buying one off ebay and how they got it to work with their car - ie

1. Can/ will a dealer re-programme the key
2. Where would I get blank key cut - assuming the local key cutting place wouldnt be able to do it?

Can be programed if it has not been programed before, so make sure it is one that hasn't been programed.
Ask dealer about cost to program.

I bought a new one off e-bay UK, fob and blank key,aftermarket but you can't tell the difference, and works well. Whatever key you buy it must have the bar code which usually rules out second hand ones.
